Affinity Trust support people with learning disabilities, as it believes that every adult has the right to an independent and fulfilling life. They are a national charity that provide high-quality personalised support for over 700 adults with learning disabilities and autism. Helping them to live a worthwhile life is the main goal.
They are looking for a Bank Support Worker who is passionate about supporting people and enthusiastic about supporting others to achieve their goals.
Your will be to support people with complex needs within their own home in the Ash area. You will need to be able to work as a team and also on your own Initiative, be flexible to meet the needs of the people. Be creative and ability to think out of the box.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate that you are a good listener who is able to set and maintain clear boundaries. preferably you will be able to drive and be able to motivate and be consistent in the way you provide support.
This role involves personal care. You will need to be very confident in lone working situations.
An understanding of supporting people with complex needs would be an advantage.
Salary: £7,47 per hours plus 10% enhancements for weekend
