Our client believes that every adult with a learning disability has the right to lead an active and fulfilling life and takes pride in supporting individuals to enjoy greater control and independence. They are a national charity providing high-quality personalised support to over 700 adults with learning disabilities and autism.
They are currently recruiting experienced carer in Costessey, Norfolk.
You will support a gentleman who is very outgoing, enjoys going out and meeting his friends.
He has a good sense of humour and likes to be supported by people who can share his sense of humour and able to complete many tasks for himself and make his own decisions, however he does require consistent support and encouragement to maintain his level of independence.
Family is very important to him and being able to maintain good relationships with his family is an important part this job role.
They are looking for someone who is committed to supporting him to achieve his wishes and goals in life.
This role is shift based and includes weekends and sleep in's.
He currently has his own car and is looking for support from people who are willing and able to drive this on his behalf.
This role involves personal care.
You will need to be confident in lone working situations.
Applicants must have be over 21 have a full UK driving licence and held it for at least 12 months. Own car is not essential for this role.
Working hours: Part time and full time (Up to 37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Up to 14,317 pa plus enhancements for weekends
