“The role of Smart Repair / Paint Technician involves repairing mainly prestige vehicles at the customers location or one of their pre-assigned vehicle preparation centres. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years body repair experience, ideally gained within a fast moving Smart repair environment or Body Shop. The candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of experience in preparation, filling, colour matching, painting and polishing.”

As pioneers of paintless dent removal, they are continually investing in the very latest technology, equipment and training. All repairs are a high standard. All appointments are centrally booked and their Technician works from their personal works van. All necessary kit and equipment is provided. The role brings a lot of flexibility excellent rates of pay and a very good bonus plan.
The role is field based covering South Yorkshire, Doncaster and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will have a previous relevant experience ideally gained within a fast moving Smart repair environment or Body Shop. The candidate will need to prove a strong background in this craft and all the techniques required. . You must be able to paint small and larger areas with an "as new" finish. Flying Colours particularly keen to recruit a technician with alloy wheel repair experience to compliment their existing painting skills as this is also core to their business but not essential.

As the role is customer facing, you need to be able to demonstrate that you have the personality and ability to interact with customers and other members of the team. Candidates who can demonstrate Trim, leather, PDR, and windscreen repair would be seen as very favorable choices.
Successful applicants will be expected to complete an induction at their head office in the Midlands and Flying Colours expects all applicants to be able to pass the ATA Cosmetic Repair standard.
Salary is £20,000 - 24,000+ Average achieved with bonus GBP per annum
