Our client believes that every adult with a learning disability has the right to lead an active and fulfilling life and takes pride in supporting individuals to enjoy greater control and independence. They are a national charity providing high-quality personalised support to over 700 adults with learning disabilities and autism.

 

They are currently looking for a Support Manager to be based in Maidenhead.

 

You will have held the post of Senior Support Worker or Team Leader and understand the required support provision for those with learning disabilities.

 

You will be responsible for developing and managing two services in Maidenhead, inspiring and motivating your team to deliver high quality services in accordance with legislation, regulatory standards and contractual requirements. You will ensure that the needs and aspirations of people supported are being met.

 

Your commitment to ensuring people with learning disabilities and managing their high quality supported living services can live the life they wish to will drive you. You will have great organisational skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver a high quality service to the people you support.

 

Your communication skills will enable you to build great working relationships with a wide team of people including staff, people we support, their friends and family, other healthcare professionals and support agencies.


You will have great knowledge of the sector, and a QCF level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or a willingness to work towards it).

 

Working hours: Part time and full time (Up to 37.5 hours per week)

Salary: Up to £27,525 pa plus 10% enhancements for weekends
