Support Manager (job ref : 717)

As a Support Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing a number of services and inspiring and motivating your team to deliver high quality services in accordance with legislation, regulatory standards and contractual requirements. You will ensure that the needs and aspirations of people supported are being met.


You are a great Senior Support Worker or Team Leader but are you now looking for a role where you can use your great knowledge of support provision and learning disabilities in a management role? If so, you are the the person we are looking for.


Affinity Trust provides support for people with learning disabilities, those who experience Autism and people with complex behaviours. They are a national charity dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised support to adults with learning disabilities. Your commitment will be to ensuring people with learning disabilities can live the life they wish to will drive you. You will be an inspiring manager with the ability and enthusiasm to motivate your team. You will have great organisational skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver a high quality service to the people you support. Your communication skills will enable you to build great working relationships with a wide team of people including staff, people we support, their friends and family, other health care professionals and support agencies.


You will be accustomed to multitasking and have a proven track record of developing team members and experience of delivering and managing high quality supported living services for people with learning disabilities.


You will have great knowledge of the sector, and a QCF level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or a willingness to work towards it).

Working hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week Full Time and Part Time

Salary: £26,985.18 per annum plus enhancements for weekends and bank holidays

Benefits: Benefits include salary enhancements for on-call duties, a contributory pension scheme, childcare vouchers, excellent training and development opportunities and 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff).
