As a Team Leader you will have the opportunity to balance your passion for directly supporting people with developing into a first rate manager. You will play a key role in the day to day management of the service including supervising a team of support staff, managing the rota, and providing on call support and assistance when required. The role is still hands on so you will still be able to work directly with the people we support – as well as leading and promoting high quality, outcome focused, support services.                           

 

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Support Worker who has worked with adults with learning disabilities. They are looking for an effective communicator with the ability to develop strong working relationships and promote and create a person centred culture within the team. Knowledge of support planning and risk assessing as well as a strong track record of achieving outcomes for individuals will be an advantage. A QCF / NVQ in Health and Social Care Level 3 is desirable, or a willingness to achieve it.

 

You must be able to work flexibly and the ability to travel around the area is essential. Holding a full UK manual driving licence is essential  as there may be a requirement to drive the cars belonging to the people they support.

Working hours: Full time (up to 37.5 hours per week)

Salary: Up to £18,523 pa plus 10% enhancements
